“Sound is the First Substance; Vibration Precedes Matter”
JENNIFER THEUER RŮŽIČKA
Alchymie is the sonic world of Jennifer Theuer Růžička- a pianist, composer, and producer crafting immersive, conceptual soundscapes since 2013. Blending electronic and acoustic instruments, field recordings, loops, and improvisation, her work spans ambient, drone, new age, and experimental electronica. At its core, Alchymie is an exploration of sound as a healing medium, connector of communities, and a tool for sparking dialogue around our relationship to sound in a rapidly shifting world.
With over three decades of professional performance and composition, Jennifer’s foundation in classical piano is enriched by a dynamic career across R&B, funk, fusion, jazz, rock, and experimental genres. From her cosmic electronica explorations with Beta Lyra, and drone artist Gregg Skloff, to international tours and recordings with icons like Alexander O’neal, David “T.C.” Ellis (Paisley Park), Mallia “The Queen of Funk” Franklin (parliament-Funkadelic), and Czech legends Pavel Bobek, and Laura a Její Tygři- her musical path is as eclectic as it is international. Jennifer has also collaborated with jazz vocalist and educator Fred Johnson, and contributed to projects for The Dalí Museum (St. Petersburg, Florida).
Her performances and compositions aim to create multi-sensory environments - spaces where listeners don’t just hear sound, they feel its presence, power and possibility.
