With over 30 years of professional composing and performing experience, I offer piano lessons that go beyond technique-fostering creativity, confidence, and joyful self-expression. Classically trained in piano performance and immersed in genres ranging from jazz and funk to experimental ambient soundscapes, I bring a rich, eclectic approach to every lesson. Whether teaching children, adults, or returning players, my focus is on nurturing each student’s unique musical voice. Lessons often incorporate improvisation, music theory, piano technique, and listening skills, rooted in a deep understanding of sound’s ability to inspire and connect. I work with students exploring the styles they love while gradually introducing essential genres that deepen skill and musical understanding. Having taught both in the USA and Czech Republic, I welcome students of all backgrounds and abilities, helping them explore music not just as a skill, but as a way of being.
